Thalassemia awareness drive from NMC Healthcare
NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain today on 26th April 2012, participated in the campaign organized by Al Ain Municipality and Family Development Foundation (Adult Women Education Center) to create awareness on Thalassemia to the local Emirati women of Al Hayer Village.
The health awareness talk was addressed by Dr. Amal Al Ghadir, GP, NMC Specialty Hospital Al Ain, who thoroughly explained the causes and symptoms of Thalassemia and the preventive measures to be taken for a healthy living.
Al Ain Municipality honored NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain and Dr Amal Al Ghadir for supporting the noble initiative of educating the local women from rural areas.
