NMC Specialty Hospital Al Ain organized Health Awareness Camp to commemorate WORLD NURSING DAY
NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain, a part of NMC Healthcare, the leading Healthcare Group in the Middle East, organized a Health Awareness / Medical Camp at Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC), Al Ain, offering free medical examinations to the employees of AADC to commemorate WORLD NURSING DAY. International Nurses Day is celebrated worldwide on May 12 every year in recognition of Florence Nightingale’s birthday. The camp witnessed an awe-inspiring response with approximately 200 people coming in for free check ups.
The Managing Director of Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC) Mr. Mohammed Omair Al Shamshi along with his convoy of the top officials took part in the event.
The medical camp is part of the community and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of the NMC Healthcare to endorse quality health care solutions and services along with creating awareness on health care in the region.
The camp undertook the various screenings like the sugar test, BP Monitoring, BMI check, Heartbeat and Pulse rate check. Specialized consultation on ENT, considering the nature of work of the employees at AADC was undertaken by the specialist ENT surgeons of the NMC specialty Hospital Al Ain.
